I’m going to try to be as informative as possible, so forgive me if I get lengthy. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath and it’s 7-8 mins from Ramstein Air Base. With COVID still alive and well causing mass confusion and ever-changing regulations, we were a bit overwhelmed coming over here from the states. Tita and her husband, Ruben, made this transition a lot smoother with frequent communication, assisting with house hunting, offering help with travel, willing to help transport our bags to our new home once we found one, and even bringing groceries while we were in quarantine. Tita was quick to respond anytime I had questions whether it was regarding the home or questions about how things work here in Germany. She even welcomed my family on day 1 with an amazing gift of wine for my wife and I and sweets for the kids. We wish we could live here. Even as a family of 5 we would make it work! That’s how nice and welcoming it has been. Everything from the living/dining area furniture to the kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms were setup like a fully furnished model home in the states (my family enjoys viewing model homes lol). The unit is air conditioned which was a necessity for us because we arrived in the peak of the heat and most German homes don’t have AC. Also, there are many places to eat and a train station nearby all within walking distance if you don’t have a vehicle at first. Literally anything that you could want/need for your first month here in Germany can be found at Tita’s Guesthouse. We are sad to go but extremely excited to move into our new home and see what Germany has to offer (hoping COVID is controlled better in the next 6-12 months). I know I’m missing something, but I could go on forever speaking so highly of this amazing experience. Thanks Tita and Ruben!”
